Mechanical Electrical Assembler

Mechanical/Electrical assembler required for our Haverhill manufacturing client. This is a busy and challenging role and you need to be someone who can work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and ideally possess electrical wiring skills. As mechanical/Electrical assembler you will be packing various electrical items into large heavy metal boxes ensuring all items are packed correctly and efficiently within set timescales. It is essential for this role that you possess a good work ethic, are a team player and have worked within a similar role before as a mechanical/Electrical assembler.

The Role

* Ability to understand drawings/plans and read build instructions

* Accurately follow build pick lists

* Carry out electrical testing

* Carry out air leakage testing

* Working hours, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.

The person

* Electrical wiring skills a distinct advantage

* Assembly experience in a fast-moving factory environment

* Knowledge of how to use hand tools

* Ability to work alone and in a team

* Attention to detail

* Reliability

* Ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and high levels of concentration
