Centric Talent are looking for a number of permanent Garment Processing Operatives for our exciting client, who are based at Hunters Point in Corby. Our client is a leading logistics solutions provider (otherwise known as a 3PL) to some of the worlds top name fashion brands.

This is a permanent job, that comes with some really exciting career prospects. From NVQ qualifications, to inhouse training programmes, our client believes in developing home grown talent, and promoting from within.

Whilst you will be working in a Warehouse, this is NOT a picking and packing role. This role requires a different type of skill set, and would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, who enjoys following process and making sure things are done just right. The job will include:

Hanging garments of clothing, to a specific and detailed instruction
Inspecting garments for defects
Using protective carriers to cover garments ready for shipping
Scanning, re-packing and labelling garments. Again, this has to be done in a specific and detailed way.
Opening, checking and sealing up order boxes
Printing labels from a computer, using this computer for obtaining job sheets and instructions
You do not need to have previous experience doing this kind of garment work, but we would ask that you have transferrable skills as full & ongoing training will be given, should you be succesful in your application.

The warehouse is clean and the teams are really friendly, making this a vibrant and exciting place to work. It is fast paced, and you do have targets to work to, but no two days are the same.

The shift pattern for our Garment Processing Operatives:

This is a full time position, and days of work are Monday to Friday.

This is an afternoon/evening shift, and hours of work are 14:15 to 22:15. Over time on a weekend is available, and you may be asked to work every third Saturday or Sunday, depending on the level of volunteers for this overtime.

What do we need from you?

Whilst we have stated no previous experience is required, you must have transferrable skills. In return for that, our client offers full re-training and ongoing development. As well as this training investment from our client, you should also:

Have a good level of both written and spoken English
Have a keen eye for detail
Be able to follow detailed instructions and processes
Take pride in your work
Have some IT & Computer capabilitiesAs well as the above skills, you must be able to demonstrate a solid working history of at least 2 years.
