Field Service Engineer - UK based
An immediate requirement exists for a time served multi-skilled electro-mechanical Engineer.

A leading supplier of automated materials handling equipment, operating in the areas of storage and retrieval, load conveying and sorting technology, including controls.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer you will be undertaking field assignments, so you will be comfortable with working away, in various locations and varied environments under your own initiative. You will have a good grasp of engineering drawings and principles, with an understanding of numeric data and information technology. Working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or plant you will be assessing equipment status/condition, suggesting suitable course of action and repairing problematic equipment. The Field Service Engineer is also required to carry out proactive service work, suggesting improvements to operational procedures and promoting the company's products and services. The Field Service Engineer will also be equipped with CSCS card and IPAF card. The position comes with company vehicle, company expenses card and mobile electronic devices.
The Person
To accommodate the role of Field Service Engineer you should be a time served multi-skilled electro-mechanical engineer with good eyesight and normal colour vision. You should be a good problem solver and be flexible, and be able to respond to 'on call' for 24/7 customer contracts. Out of normal hours overtime premium will apply. You should also have good oral and written communication skills. Being a field role you will have a full UK driving licence and be able to manage your own time and varied workload.
