We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Paddock Wood, Kent. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a hold a customer-oriented approach. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency and top customer service.
Requirements:
* Managing customer collection dates, times and booking in slots, managing expectations
* Creating purchase orders and manifest for suppliers.
* Act as the go-between for the operations department regarding any delayed customer orders
* Ensuring all customer information is given to transport companies e.g. site contact, off load requirement
* Answering incoming calls
* Scanning Proof of deliveries
* Providing ETA's to customers
* Assist customer support within daily duties
In order to be considered for the role, you must hold the below personal skills/attributes:
* Confident with Microsoft packages e.g. email and online systems at a basic level and phones.
* Driven to succeed
* Excellent communication skills
* Always focused on what is best for the business
* Efficient
* Highly organised
* Can-do positive attitude
* Experience isn't essential but willing to learn and grow within the business
* Self-motivated
* Strong attention to detail
Monday - Friday 07:30 -16:30 (Flexible)
Benefits
* Salary between GBP22,000 - GBP28,000 per annum DOE
* Discretionary company GP related bonus
