We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join the Sodexo team at the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of Yorkshire's leading acute Trusts.

Sodexo provide vital patient feeding services, along with staff & visitor dining and retail operations such as Costa & Subway outlets across sites. We're looking for a General Manager who can lead & develop the whole operational & financial management of this key Sodexo Healthcare contract.

You'll play a pivotal role in implementing initiatives and seeing them through to a successful conclusion. As the Sodexo lead representative for the contract you'll manage all levels of communications between the company and Trust stakeholders, working together to continually deliver a first-class service.

You'll will have proven people management and development skills and thrive in a fast-paced NHS environment and enjoy the challenge of adapting and continually improving services on site. Main Responsibilities
Manage, mentor and develop an across sites team of 130 employees, to ensure consistent service levels are monitored, measured and managed to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Build and deliver the service strategies across the Patient Feeding Services, Visitor Dining and Retail outlets, working toward an agreed business plan.
Safety is a high priority, ensuring the Sodexo Health & Safety and supply polices are followed and all onsite Sodexo colleagues are aware of the policies and their responsibilities.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment is highly desirable but not essential
A track record of successfully forging and managing strong relationships, amazing communication and influencing skills and the ability to make key decisions
Exceptional leader and people manager with the ability to lead, manage and develop a team a high performing team
Experience of budget management
Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
