Admin Assistant is needed to join the team here at BBD Boom. We help ambitious B2B businesses grow faster. As part of our own rapid growth we are expanding our team.

BBD Boom uses the latest techniques and technology across marketing, sales and service to help our clients acquire new leads, convert them into customers and provide customer support. We are HubSpot Diamond partners.

As the Administrative Assistant you will be required to assist the Directors with all aspects of administration. You will report directly to the Managing Director.


* Conduct clerical duties, including digital filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents

* Organise meetings and team availability

* Perform accounting tasks, including invoicing, credit control and sourcing supplier invoices

* Schedule meetings and travel arrangements for senior members of the team

* Keep HR records and training up to date using our HR portal. Help the senior team with recruitment, this will include short-listing CVs and replying to applicants

* Keep all health and safety records up to date using our portal

* Organise client and team gifts

* Organise the purchase of equipment when necessary

* Organise any updates required for the Staff handbook and company policies Private & Confidential

* Help prepare internal presentations. Attend board meetings and leadership team meetings and produce the minutes

* Assist in any award submissions

* Organise team social events

Skills and experience needed

* 1+ years' experience working in an office setting

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Knowledge of Xero software would be advantageous

* Ability to multi-task and prioritise. You will respond to tasks in a timely manner

* Able to complete administrative tasks with minimal supervision

* At ease in building relationships with people

* You will have high levels of attention to detail to ensure that the quality of work and invoicing information is 100% accurate

* The role will require activity on a daily basis and it's important that at the end of each day that tasks for that day are completed however the hours are flexible.

Hours and Pay

* Hours are 09.30 - 14:30 (times are flexible, so can be discussed) Monday to Friday.

* The role is remote, but may include some face-to-face team meetings

* Pay is GBP9k-GBP12k per annum DOE
