Junior Chef (Commis Chef)
Salary: GBP9.62 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week includes weekends
Potters Grange is a brand new, 20 bedded boutique care home opening soon in Potters Bar.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Chef, with a strong work ethic, willing to learn and who is looking for a first step into a catering career.
Opportunities like this don't come along often, and this is a chance to be part of something special from the very beginning, with brand new fantastic equipment and resources to work with.
With previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, you will assist the Head Chef with food preparation and cooking and presenting appetising, balanced and varied nutritious foods that will meet our residents individual requirements, but also be happy to work alone.
Working as part of a new, small and supportive team you will ensure the kitchen is a clean, tidy, and safe working environment and be willing to get stuck in and wash up!
You will also get an opportunity to learn about the IDDSI food preparation requirements for special diets.
