Senior Software Engineer (Software Developer)

Software Engineer required for a specialist electronics manufacturer based in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer looking to step into a senior position to lead projects and junior staff. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team who are industry leaders in what they do.
To apply for this role you must have experience coding with C/C++ or Python with experience and knowledge of embedded systems. You can come from ANY industry background however experience with EMV payments and any managerial experience would be desirable but NOT essential.
The successful Senior Software Engineer will be joining a team of four engineers and will be responsible for taking ownership of the full product development process. As a senior member within the team, your time will be spent equally between hands on work and managing the team.
Working with C/C++ and Python, you will work on both the development of new products and the modification/upgrade of existing products, tools and cloud services. The role will be project focused and as you progress within the role you will be given ownership of more key projects.
