Our client is an extremely well known and extremely reputable organisation with a very modern distribution centre based in the Uckfield area. They are about to reach one of their peak periods and they need a number of Drivers Assistants to help them through the summer months.
Duties:
The work will involve assisting with the delivery of products and goods such as washing machines, flat pack furniture, mattresses etc. You'll be assisting the Driver with directions, and helping with the installation and assembly of products, as well as calling customers en route. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
Hours of work:
Either 6am to 5pm GBP9.55 per hour
OR 10am to 9pm GBP9.85 per hour.
A minimum of 2-3 shifts per week will be expected, some Saturday's may also be required.
Please note:
This is a Drivers Mate job, you won't be driving the vehicle yourself.
The job will be physically demanding, the goods can be very heavy and it could involve lifting them up flights of stairs etc.
You will require your own transport to get to this site each day as they are on the outskirts of Uckfield.
Full induction and health and safety provided.
