Software Product Owner

We're recruiting for a Software Product Owner to work with an exciting and growing software business operating in the finance and accountancy sector.
This is a varied role in a fast growing SAAS (software as a service) company which will include some client liaison and support as well as assisting in the implementation of the software.
This is the perfect next career step for a Business Analyst or Junior Product Owner.
Principal Responsibilities will be:
* To assist in the management of development scrum teams
* Keeping abreast of developments in the pay and charge market, particularly in respect of competitors
* Conceptualisation and design of new features, sprint planning and user acceptance testing
* Forming and maintaining strong relationships with clients
* Assisting in technical queries from clients
* Assisting in client implementation and training of client staff
* Forming and maintaining strong relationships with our cleints overseas based development team
* Determining development priorities and managing stakeholder expectations
* Ability to create and edit development epics / stories and build business cases for features
You will:
* Be highly intelligent with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
* Have specific knowledge of the recruitment agency market
* Have experience operating or developing within the pay and charge market
* Have a good working knowledge of agency payroll and temporary working arrangements
* Have experience answering client telephone enquiries and / or queries
* Have the ability to conceptualise the features in an end-to-end fashion, be able to articulate the expected features via verbal and written communication to the development team, work closely with the development team on a daily basis to track the progress of the sprint
* Test the features so that the customer requirements are met
* Be able to, and enjoy, working very well under pressure
* Be able to use initiative and work independently
* Be detail and actioned orientated, results focused, have excellent communication and a demonstrable appetite for delivering results
* Be fiercely ambitious

* Desirable: experience working with API documentation or developing open API's
