Crane Operator / Material Re-Handler
Hours and location
The role is full time, permanent and based at Ward in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
40 + hours per week Monday to Friday.
Please note that occasional weekend/evening work may be required. Overtime will be paid at a higher rate.
Salary
GBP10.50 p/h - GBP13.13 p/h

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Crane Driver/ Material Re-Handler to join our busy team at our site in Chesterfield. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience working as a Crane Driver/Material Re-Handler and ideally posses NPORS accreditation. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required.
* Operate Crane/ Material Re-Handler, and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
* Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
* Use grab attachment to reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
* Maintain clean and safe work environment
