Role: Project Manger
Location: Stafford
Duration: 6 Months
Purpose of the Job
Operating in the United Kingdom, for the High Volage Product Sales and Trading function (HVP-UK), the Product Project Manager (PPM) will carry out all the Project Management functions for the supply of HV Switchgear Products for external UK Customers.
The PPM directly faces the UK customer, as the main point of contact on Contracts selling traded products coming from sister units in our global supply chain. As well as managing the Customer the PPM, will also work with the Technical Project Manager (TPM), the interface for the Suppling units and some external supplies for some limited local scope.
The key role of the PPM is to successfully execute the supply and deliverables of the Contract, whilst adhering to the policies and processes set out by the Company.
The PPM is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of Traded Projects from Purchase Order acceptant, through to the end of the Warranty period, with the expectation to deliver high levels of Customer satisfaction and control and maximise the delivered margin for the business.
The PPM will manage significant projects for the business. Many customers will be of strategic importance and as such the PPM will be an ambassador for the company values on ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* To Project Manage loose produce and package traded Contracts.
* Be the main point of contact for the Customer in all aspects of the project execution.
* To carry out all SAP functions, such as order booking (SDCC method), planned costs, invoicing and raising Purchase Orders.
* Liaison with the Product Sales Specialist for Tender handover, and variation orders.
* Communication and project coordination with the Technical Project Manager within the Product Line.
* Carry out the project planning and create and maintain the contract programme using MS projects.
* Provide assistance to the Technical Project Manager and Customer to ensure on time delivery of the project in accordance with the contracted delivery date and terms, manage any deviation to contract delivery date or programme as required from both the Customer and Product Line perspective.
