ONYX InSight is a growing technology and engineering organisation in the renewable energy sector. Our advanced sensing, software and machine learning products are deployed on wind turbines around the world. Headquartered in the UK, we also have offices in the US, Australia, India and Korea.
Due to strong growth and planned expansion, we now require a process-oriented HR professional with strong systems and reward credentials to support our teams around the world. For a relatively small organisation, we are unusually global, and this is great opportunity to build upon your existing experience in the international compensation and benefits space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of a new HR information system.
- Ensure our global employee records are stored and data processed in a structured, controlled and compliant manner.
- Ensure our reward, compensation and benefits processes are delivered effectively globally, including paid time off & sales commissions, payroll, salary review, bonus etc.
- Own and deliver employee reward change processes.
- Oversee our benefits strategy, including procurement and day to day management of third-party providers.
- Lead our UK Tier 2 sponsorship application process, and global mobility and immigration issues.
- Ensure that our terms and conditions, handbooks, policies and contractual documents are aligned; act as SME for terms and conditions of employment globally.
- Manage the data, compliance and systems dimensions of the employee onboarding/offboarding process.
- Undertake salary benchmarking and participate in external survey processes.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc management information reporting.

Essential Skills
- Strong reward, compensation and benefits experience, including payroll, job evaluation, and benefits procurement/management.
- Experienced user of HR information systems; able to configure and administer applications to align with process.
- Experience of leading or working as part of a HRIS implementation project team.
- Knowledge of employee data and compensation compliance best practice.
- Good knowledge of employment law in at least one ONYX jurisdiction.
- Highly developed data and analytical skills; Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint (competent) skills.
- Previous exposure to global mobility & immigration.
- Process-minded, systematic and methodical.
- Strong action-bias; a completer-finisher.
- Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
