As part of our Track25 business plan we will launch 18 new models or derivatives of our vehicles and look to expand our retailer network into new markets with an aim of having 100 retailers globally.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our EHS team as an EHS Leader within our Composites Technology Centre in Sheffield (UK).

Purpose of the role:

In this capacity, your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • To provide advice, support and coaching on EHS related operational issues
  • Maintain and further develop Safe Systems of Work related to Permit to Work, Confined Space Entry, Energy Control and Power Lockout and Working at Height
  • Maintain regulatory permits and facilities inspection records
  • Assist with the preparations and management of the site emergency planning arrangements
  • Support the continued development of EHS policies and procedures

Principal accountabilities:

  • Creation of risk assessments for all activities on site
  • Deliver internal EHS training where required
  • Provide regular EHS performance reports to site and corporate leadership
  • To lead and carry out incident investigations as required
  • Undertake workplace inspections and behavioural observations to ensure correct practices are adhered to
  • Undertake internal audits in line with corporate standards
  • Identify legislative changes and update existing policies and procedures

Knowledge, skills & experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or similar H&S Qualification
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, and Environmental Permitting
  • Previous EHS experience / proven background in an industrial, process driven or engineering setting
  • Understanding of EHS legislation
  • Experience of Confined Space Entry Permits and General Permit to Work

  • Valid Passport and Driving License
