Exciting role for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing Waste to Energy consultancy where you will work on technically interesting projects and have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team.

This rapidly expanding company specialise in the design of waste to energy plants and are currently developing a number of plants around the UK. They are constantly looking to expand their client base and have ambitious growth plans moving forward. Due to their rapid growth, they are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will be acting as the Lead Electrical Engineer to help develop the business and build a team under you. You will be working on the electrical designs of waste to energy plants and seeing the process through from cradle to grave, reviewing and approving 3rd party designs, and traveling to client sites when required. You will receive fantastic progression opportunities as the business grows and have the ability to develop your skills and help shape the future of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Power Generation sector, have LV, MV, and HV experience, and have experience using electrical design software.

The Role:

Carrying out the electrical designs of the waste to energy plants

Seeing the process through from cradle to grave (From design through to commissioning and operations)

Reviewing and approving 3rd party designs

GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 + Progression + Training + Car Allowance + Holidays

The Person:

Comes from a Power Generation background

Has LV, MV, and HV experience

Has experience using electrical design software

Looking to build a team and help shape the future of the company

Full driving license

Willing to travel to client sites
