Joining the Group IT function as a Technical Resourcer, you'll have responsibility for providing support to Employees, Line Managers and HR colleagues to enable smooth and efficient management of the employee lifecycle and general recruitment activities. You will play an active part in sourcing candidates whilst helping to collect and monitor hiring related data allowing the business to gain a more holistic view of our workforce. This will be a one year fixed term contract, which we expect to be extended, but cannot guarentee.

How you will make an impact as a Technical Resourcer

As a Technical Resourcer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our hiring process by supporting the function through collection & maintenance of employee data, tracking hiring metrics & KPI's and the co-ordination of interview bookings in order to build efficiency in our hiring experience.

You will also be involved in the sourcing and screening of candidates for internal vacancies within the IT/Technology sector, working closely with a Resourcing Advisor, utilising tools including Job Boards, Linkedin Recruiter and internal databases. You will also support by participating in interviews and discussing feedback with managers, helping to support in their decision-making process, and support the entire recruitment lifecycle by agreeing offer values with the relevant Line Manager and negotiating offers with candidates.

Working closely with colleagues to support Hiring Managers you would be pivotal in ensuring we have a good picture of hiring within Group IT, assisting in the implementation and maintaining a central resource spreadsheet by requesting, receiving and processing the relevant information in a timely fashion.

This role will be a point of contact for stakeholders across the business at a variety of levels and also external candidates via email or phone. You will deal with these queries with empathy and professionalism escalating any urgent queries to the relevant party. Collaboration is key as you will interact and build relationships with our HR Advisory teams and line managers.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Resourcer or HR/Recruitment administrator, ideally within an IT/Technically focused environment.
  • Experience of Candidate sourcing and recruitment systems/tools, such as Job Boards & Boolean Search
  • Excellent PC skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised and pragmatic approach with a good attention to detail and the ability to deliver to set deadlines
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in line with best practice HR
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and efficiencies
  • Acts with high levels of professionalism at all times
  • Happy to work both collaboratively as part of a team and completely autonomously using initiative where required.
  • Proactive problem solver

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of utilising Linkedin Recruiter and/or SAP Success Factors
  • Background in/knowledge of HR policy and best practices.
