Are you a skilled server specialist in search of your new IT team? Here at BCoT we invest heavily in our IT systems with over GBP1million having been spent over the last 18 month and a further GBP600,000 taking place at presently. We currently running VMware ESXi 6.5\6.7 and MS HyperV on HP Synergy, C7000 and HP Nimble and Netapp storage, hosting 90 servers across four data centres. We are looking for someone with proven experience of virtualisation and ideally HP Synergy systems to maintain and expand our provision of windows servers.
This is a diverse role working with the Director of IT to plan and implement new technologies and system including a migration from a mixed server 2012R2\16\19 estate to a more unified 2019 one. Working in an expanding team you will be responsible for server infrastructure and ensuring that BAU can continue in a safe and secure IT environment.
The post may require some out of hours work re patching and rebooting systems to not affect the learning environment but time off in lieu will be given.
