Governance Manager required for ongoing support for a Housing Association located in Nottingham.
Your new company
Working for a housing association located in Nottingham - though the role will be working from home initially with a phased return to occasional office work.
Your new role
This is a managerial post, responsible for the management of their team and resources, and accountable for their performance.
This role calls for an experienced and knowledgeable individual with particular understanding of GDPR. This person will be responsible for the effective running of all Boards and Committees, and providing excellent development and support to members. They will also ensure compliance with GDPR and related regulations across the organisation as well as manages the PA support service to the Chief Executive and Company Directors - 4 PA's will be reporting to you.
* Effectively manages the Group's governance structures including the planning of all Board and Committee work.
* Ensures governance compliance with related codes of practice, regulations and legislation.
* Ensures compliance with all Freedom of Information, Data Protection Act and GDPR requests and related issues.
* Provides professional support to Board Members
This is an on-going, full time role with an ideal stat date of 28th June.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent working knowledge of GDPR procedures and implementation as well as experience managing a team. You will have worked at this level before and be able to effectively demonstrate this through your CV.
