Clarion Housing Group is the country's largest housing association with 125,000 homes nationwide. We're a social landlord providing affordable homes overwhelmingly for people who can't meet their housing needs on the open market, a property development company, a charitable foundation and a repairs and maintenance service.

We're looking for a determined and resilient People Administrator to join our People Operations Team and help us to deliver an adaptive, timely and compliant advice and query resolution service across the full employee lifecycle. Initially offered as a fixed term contract there's the possibility of an extension or permanent opportunities becoming available.

You'll collaborate with colleagues across all functions of the Group and work closely with the People Advisory Team and People Partners in order to provide outstanding first line support to line managers and team leaders with day-to-day People Administration activities. We'll look to you to provide appropriate advice in line with policies and procedures, and be the 'go to' person for general queries and guidance, with a solution-oriented approach.

You'll ensure employee information is recorded accurately in a timely manner and that critical matters relating to payroll are completed accurately and correctly, whilst supporting the People Advisors in the delivery of operational and cyclical activities such as development plans, salary reviews, succession and workforce planning, employee relations and performance matters.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Support the People Advisors in collating monthly reporting metrics for sickness absence, performance, attrition, performance and case management.

  • Provide and maintain adequate and accurate documentation relating to disciplinary, grievance and redundancy situations in line with statutory requirements.

You'll already have demonstrable experience of working in an HR environment and considerable experience of handling varied people related queries.

We're seeking professionals with a CIPD Level 3 qualification or relevant experience in a similar role, effective communication and interpersonal skills with a natural flair for building relationships and the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.

If you're a flexible and adaptable HR professional, capable of working independently and using your initiative, then we very much look forward to hearing from you.

In return, we offer a highly competitive salary, a Group Bonus Scheme and other benefits, including a defined contribution pension matched up to 7.5% and generous life assurance.
