Sales Representative
Derby, Derbyshire

Here’s why you want this role!

There are two things about typical sales roles. First, few people want to talk to you. Second, you have to starve (almost) to death, while you build up your commission payments.

Not here!

Our client plays the long game so that you don’t have to. They’ll start you on a salary, commensurate with your experience. We’ll increase that salary, regularly, as you accumulate skills. At every step, they’ll ensure you’re paid your market value (or better) and they’ll work hard, every day, to boost that value!

In addition to having plenty of people to talk to, and being paid well, there’s a bunch of other good news.

In this sales role—unlike pretty much every other sales role on the planet—you don’t have to prospect.

A dynamic marketing team does this for you. This team identifies market segments, researches prospects and their special requirements, and then customizes a compelling offer that meets those needs.

And, in this sales role—unlike pretty much every other—there’s no admin work. None! You don’t have to process orders, generate quotes, resolve issues or deal with the usual fuss that impairs other salespeople’s productivity.

Oh, and one more thing. You don’t have to travel. This role is based in Derby. You’ll do your consultative selling with a headset and a web conference.

What experience should you have?

If you think you’ll thrive with a mission like this, in an environment like our client’s, please reach out and let our client know a little about you.
But, in case you’re wondering, here’s what they’ll be looking for in an applicant.

Our client will be looking for someone who’s comfortable in a busy sales environment and, ideally, someone who has sold solutions over the phone or has experience in technology sales.
As their Sales Representative, what will I need?
- Tenacity
- Drive
- A strong desire to succeed
- To be technologically capable and receptive to technical product specs
- Possess a high level of resilience
- To be enthusiastic
They definitely want someone who’s a great communicator. Some sales experience is a plus. So is a willingness to identify and learn best practice in sales.

Plus, our client wants someone who’s a team player (not a mercenary). After all, sales is a team sport and our client likes it that way.
Work with industry leader
Our client is a team of Cisco technology experts in the design, delivery and customer service of Cisco solutions. Their focus is high quality services and support, specialising in Enterprise Network Infrastructure, Collaboration and Security. This means they have the people and the know-how to deliver the very best Cisco solutions and the power to give you the very best deals.

“So, what’s in it for me?” you ask

Our client prides themselves for being a culture-based company buzzing with high energy. Aside from the enthusiastic environment, you'll enjoy:

- Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (subject to experience)
- Vitality healthcare

- 25 days’ holiday and statutory (8)
- Professional development and career growth opportunities
