Pluss as part of Seetec Pluss and the Seetec group, is recruiting team members for the Health Works for Cornwall (HWC) employment support programme, which aims to support 5,500 workless individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with health and well-being related barriers to gaining employment. Part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), with investment from Cornwall Council, the project will deliver training and support based on Information, Advice and Guidance principles to help remove these barriers and to progress individuals towards work.
Pluss will deliver 50% of the delivery across South East and Coast to Coast areas of Cornwall as a subcontractor to Cornwall Development Company, we are recruiting a Change Coach to work with programme participants to assist with motivation and confidence to overcome barriers to the workplace.

We are seeking talented individuals to be part of our team as a Change Coach. You will, under the direction of the Employment Team Leader, have the responsibility for:
* Providing dedicated support to participants with the aim of helping customers access, develop and sustain employment.
* Achieving contractual delivery targets by engaging and promoting the programme to participants and promoting the benefits of the HWC programme - signpost to alternative internal provisions if not eligible for the Health Works for Cornwall programme.
* Work with and support participants to identify and address their barriers to employment with individual tailored packages of support, so they have the necessary skills and confidence to secure and sustain employment, through a SMART action plans.
* Manage a caseload of participants, having regular, positive contact to maintain progression towards agreed goals.
* Identify suitable referral partners to find participants that would benefit from the programme.
The successful candidate must have experience or be able to cold call employers and market specific attributes of programme participants to employers; have experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, including health conditions and disabilities. You will be a coach and mentor and be the principle contact to build strong positive relationships, guide, motivate, challenge, encourage and help participants obtain sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators and all Quality and Compliance measures.
* Manage a caseload of customers using a variety of coaching strategies to help customers overcome barriers to obtaining sustainable employment.
* Undertake in-depth assessments using a suite of tools to fully understand a customer's circumstances, preferences and holistic barriers to progression.
* Use an integration framework of local specialist services to obtain support to address specific issues (e.g. substance misuse, anger management, debt advice, health and vocational training).
* Support the customer in all aspects of job-search and interview preparation to ensure that customers are matched to the right job that enables them to sustain employment and develop a career.
* Fully understand the local labour market to source suitable job opportunities.
* Identify the specific recruitment needs of each employer and undertake tailored pre-screens and group assessments with Employer Solutions Consultants.
* Develop specialist knowledge areas such as specific disabilities, housing, benefits etc. Provide advice to other staff on these specialisms across the programme.
* Work peripatetic across outreach locations (sometimes alongside other services e.g. housing, health and primary care centres) to increase service accessibility.
* Work flexibility which may include evenings and weekends as well as being based in different delivery locations when required.
Skills and Experience
* A strong commitment to personal and professional development.
* Experience or ability to cold call and close agreements with employers.
* Demonstrates the ability to market specific attributes of customers to employers.
* Experience of working in a target driven environment.
* Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, including health conditions and disabilities.
* Understanding of how to affect positive behaviour change.
* Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent.
* Member of IEP.
* Knowledge of the labour market, wider provision in the local area.
* Experience of securing employment opportunities for a wide range of individuals.
Additional Information
Salary: GBP25,339 to GBP27,106 pro rata for part time (dependent on experience)
Location: Truro
Hours: 22.2 hrs per week - Full time - 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday- Friday
