Are you a Business Intelligence Manager? If so, I may have the role for you.

I am currently working with a company on the outskirts of London who are looking to take on an experienced Business Intelligence Manager.

You will be the go-to, working with colleague's and external clients to understand all data needs and provide solutions and training across the board.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership of the BI requirements for Saba UK
  • Responsible for the delivery, accuracy, quality & timeliness of all BI reporting and dashboards.
  • Build new reports and dashboards to a high standard for distribution to local and senior management as well as clients.
  • Maintenance of pricing tables, pricing structures and hierarchies, data cleansing, quality control, and account securities.
  • Analyse market dynamics, pricing trends and research and log all findings, update competitor database and special events tracker in system.
  • Be the key point of contact on-site
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to management teams, to include: Analysis of actual expenses Vs Budget.
  • Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures, as necessary.
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Responsible for data preparation, manipulation and the maintenance of the data flow into certain dashboards and all advanced analytical data models.
  • Responsible for BI communication, on-going training, and the support and maintenance of the Bi-Tools for the UK.
  • Understand existing systems

Skills required

  • Preferable or similar experience in OLAP tools such as IBM Cognos/TM1, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, MS objects, SPSS (Predictive) Cognos Analytics, Qlik, Tableau.
  • Power Bi/Data Visualisations tools including Tableau, and Cognos Bi
  • Datamodelling
  • Advanced Excel and Report Authoring
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong practical understanding of the application of analytics to business issues across multiple industries and varying size client engagements
  • Qualification in a quantitative discipline such as business analytics, mathematics, statistics, operational research, physical or computer science.
