We are looking for a motivated Commissioning Engineer to join a market leading systems integrator. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a diverse role designing PLCs to specific criteria, in fast-paced manufacturing plants, working within a small team of engineers. As world class leaders there will be ample opportunity for personal and professional development.
The ideal Commissioning Engineer will have experience writing control software, performing design and commissioning activities for PLC systems and motion control. The individual will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work with HMI software, inverters, servos, and communication networks.
Responsibilities:
Develop new PLC codes - Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Rockwell and others
The day-to-day electrical, PLC modifications on existing code
Installation and Commissioning
FAT/SAT's
Required Skills:
Experience designing control systems
Solid understanding of motion control/drive systems - Inverter/Servo Drives
Statement List and Ladder Logic programming
Knowledge on settings/commissioning/fault finding of VFD drives, fieldbus communications and PLC I/O, instruments
