Job Role: HGV1 Driver
Rota: Monday to Friday with weekend work scheduled 2 out of 3 weeks.
Driving a HGV1 vehicle.
You will be working for a prestigious UK logistics company delivering on behalf of a nationwide chain of superstores delivering cages to stores.
Delivering to stores across UK with an average of 2 drops per day and pickups using Tri-Axle Box
Trailers as well as Curtainsiders.
Due to the nature of the role you will be working 2 out of 3 Saturdays / Sundays per month.
You will receive full training.
You will receive 24-hour support from our dedicated Operations team.
A flexible approach to working patterns and start times as dictated by the needs of the
business, and willing to spend nights away from base when required.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our
customers' products, servicing the General Merchandise sector
Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, and that use of any point of delivery
technology is used with attention to detail.
Licence Requirements:
HGV Class 1 licence.
Up to date CPC & Digi Card.
No more than 6 points, no major endorsements.
Newly qualified drivers welcome.
You must:
Be punctual.
Have a positive attitude and work ethic.
Smart appearance.
Respect all staff and vehicles.
