Our client is currently seeking a number of experienced welders to strengthen their exisiting team.
Our client is situated in the hearty of Sunderland. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the engineering market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.
Responsibilities of their Welder will include:
- Working to the Company's weld procedures
- Using MIG/MAG and bare wire weld sets
- Informing Supervisors or Inspectors of defects
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with the clients safety standards and procedures
What they're looking for in their Welder:
Must be able to pass a Lloyds Weld Test BSEN or ISO 9606-1 Down hand fillet, 2G horizontal butt
- Time served ideally but not necessery
- Basic understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules
- Manual handling experience
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
This is an ongoing contract and could be up to 2 years worth of work
