Structural Engineer - Hertfordshire
Our clients are a well-established construction and engineering consultancy providing professional services across the Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transport & Highway, Geomatics and Building Surveying industries.
As they look to expand the practice, they are now looking to recruit a Structural Engineer (Graduate +2yrs) to join their Hertfordshire office.
They are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to strengthen their structural engineering team working on a variety of challenging projects across a number of different sectors including commercial, R&D, energy and residential (both new build and refurbishment projects).
Responsibilities to include:
- Assist and carry out structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry and timber
- Liaise with clients, project teams and local authorities
- Work closely with design team
- Professionally represent the company
Requirements:
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years' structural experience in a consultancy environment
- Design experience in all common building materials
- An understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Package:
- GBP27,000 - GBP32,000 (DOE)
