Welder fabricator (Must have an CSCS card)
Birmingham
Temp - perm
Monday to Thursday7.45am - 4.30pm / Friday 8am - 1.30pm
GBP12.00 p/h
The role is for an experienced Fabricator Welder in a modern precision engineering environment in a family run business you will be using MIG and TIG techniques to weld stainless steel and mild steel materials into fabrications for various sectors. You will be working from engineering drawings to produce bespoke fabricated products.
* MIG & TIG welding.
* Fabrication of own work.
* Inspecting your own work - working as part of a small highly skilled team.
* CSCS card is a must due to going on site locations
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous exposure in a similar role. You will be able to work from engineering drawings to produce complete fabrications using MIG and TIG welding techniques. You will be able to work confidently to weld and fabricate using thin to medium gauge mild and stainless steel.
You will be predominantly fabricating balustrades, but this can change depending to the order book. If you have experience working with structural steel, then we want to hear from you!
