Graduate Teaching Assistant
Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a client school in Sheffield for Graduate Teaching Assistants. The primary role of a teaching assistant is too support the main class teacher by helping set up the lesson, deliver and collect work and help maintain behavioural standards in the classroom.
You will be providing small group or 1:1 support with SEN pupils, this could range from supporting students who struggle with behaviour, MLD or SEMH. This role provides an excellent opportunity for flexible work, while developing relationships and building invaluable classroom experience to build the foundations for a career in education.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a 2:1 or above and is passionate about starting a career in education. Working with children in any capacity in beneficial, this includes sports coaching, youth work or tuition. Any experience working with SEN individuals is also beneficial.
Benefits of this Teaching Assistant:
You can expect to earn GBP1200-GBP1400 per month

Complete flexibility with hoursThe role will be for immediate start, although it is subject to a DBS check, right to work UK authorisation so relevant documentation must be provided.
