Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are PGCE/QTS, NQTS/RQT are also welcomed to apply.

The Role

Raising the standard of the curriculum across Key Stage 1.
Engage learners within an holistic, inclusive and nurturing environment.
Strong focus on Health, wellbeing to develop resilient individuals.
Have excellent subject knowledge and confident to; plan, prepare, adapt and teach according to learners' current assessment grades.
Ability to develop positive relationships across the school, with parents and external agencies to support pastoral care.

The school

The school is set in the Prestwich are, a small urban village. A great location for a Year 1 Teacher to develop and enthuse young children whilst developing relationships with parents. A two - form entry primary school with a very strong ethos in holistic care and wellbeing.

To be considered for the Key Stage 1, Year 1 Primary Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), RQT/NQTS will be considered.
Will have recent experience working in Key Stage 1 and/or other relevant experience.
Have an excellent foundation in Reading, Writing and Phonics.
Ability to plan, prepare and deliver inspiring lessons.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Resilience and ability to commit to tasks.
Support the safety of all children.
Good time management and organisational skills
