Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector required for civil engineering project in the Portsmouth area. The ideal candidate will come from a civil engineer background with experience with insitu concrete. Duties to include Review drawings and specifications well before work starts. Raising and drafting technical queries to the Site Manager. Review and update quality check sheet templates to control the quality of the work. Liaising with the Client's ECC Site Supervisors to agree quality checks required and sign off procedures. Inspect works on site and complete quality check sheets, pre and post pour, in advance and during the Client's ECC Site Supervisor inspections. Using knowledge and experience to propose solutions to resolve technical issues on site. Post pour visual quality checks, compile and update snagging lists, co-ordinate snagging works and sign off completion of snagging
