The Lean Manager serves as the focal for all activities related to implementation and maintenance of our Client's Operating System at the site level, including the building of organizational capability and personnel development.
General Tasks:
1. Be an active, visible presence on the factory floor and within the supporting functions to pull engagement and participation from support and direct personnel for the daily lean actions and behaviors.
2. Hold leaders accountable for holding their own teams and support personnel accountable to ensure timely completion of daily execution and lean implementation tasks. Ensure proper escalation of daily items requiring help from the next organizational level and/or stalled site implementation.
Knowledge Require:
1. Read and learn all applicable documents, including Framework, Maturity Progression, Guidebooks, and Learning Modules.
2. Champion Lean implementation to the true intent and content of the documentation set.
Personal Specification/Essential Qualities:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Operations or other related field preferred.
* 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of lean (Toyota Production System-based) thought processes, tools, and techniques, including kaizen, 5S, and standard work.
* Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt is highly desired.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Proficient within MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Working knowledge of change management and business, production, materials, order processes, and systems.
* Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills; the ability to communication with a diverse group of people
