Mechanical Engineer based in Corsham, Wilts. Salary GBP32,000 to GBP38,000 per annum plus company benefits.
Are you an experienced Facilities Management Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have supervisory experience, or are you looking for this next step in your career? If so, we have a new vacancy in our Corsham office for a Facilities Management Principal Mechanical Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small professional team of mechanical specialist's delivering Facilities Management services to our knowledgeable and experienced client. You should possess a background in a mechanical engineering and have experience specifically within facilities management, you may be an Appointed Authorised Person, although this is not essential as training will be provided.
You will be expected to cover occasionally for the Facilities Support Manager along with regular supervision other members of the team, which will include guidance, mentoring and the coordination of project work in line with customer requirements.
You should possess a background and proven experience in the control and maintenance of risk assessments, method statements and standing operating instructions relevant to mechanical procedures.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team where you will have the opportunity to utilise your existing skills and develop the skills of those around you, this role is based on the customer site with an on-call roster and occasional weekend maintenance, up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year. You should possess excellent communication skills to support delivering a high-quality service.
