Acorn Recruitment is seeking an office based Customer Service Advisor for their manufacturing client based in Thornbury, Bristol. Our client will consider applicants with no direct experience who they would be happy to train from scratch.

Our client manufactures lenses for glasses. The salary for this permanent position is GBP18,000 pa.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

* Input telephone lens orders.
* Inform customers of delays, stock issues.
* Resolve glazing and uncut queries.
* Help to resolve EDI issues.
* Offer advice on lenses.
* Answer general inquiries on promotions.
* Receive and make telephone calls.
* Progress chase.
* Liaise with sales force.
* Work in dispatch function when required.
* Log and record CS KPI targets.
* Expedite urgent orders using CRM expeditor function.
* Order point of sale/instrument parts using AS400.
* Resolve technical issues using help desk function if necessary.
* Contact account managers with any account related issues.
* To provide out of hours support for Saturday production and early delivery schedule as required.

Knowledge / experience required:

* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and confident telephone manner.
* Experience with Microsoft Office.
