Job Title - LGV1 | AM DRIVERS | Store Delivery

Location - Warrington

Due to continued growth in workload. We are currently recruiting LGV1| HGV1 | Class 1 AM drivers to work out of our client based in Warrington. The work involved is mainly Food deliveries, Monday to Friday work, various shift patterns.

This is on-going work and for suitable candidates, permanent positions are available after the initial intake period, T2P Is available after 12weeks,

Our client is a well-known company and offers excellent rates of pay. In return the ideal candidate must have the following:

• A valid CAT CE Licence,
• CPC Card,
• Digi Tacho Card,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Own Transport or able to get to Warrington
• No more than 6 points on your licence for minor convictions,

Unfortunately we do not accept any licences showing DR or IN convictions for insurance purposes.

This role is of course about safe driving, but it's also about delivering excellent customer service to our clients well known stores!

You'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out driver checks before you start the engine.

• Carrying out at least two runs over each shift, often to different stores.

• Helping with loading and unloading your vehicle and any other work that needs carrying out - including cleaning your vehicle and trailer.

• Carrying out deliveries in the most efficient way possible - our clients regional planning team are always working hard behind the scenes to ensure our routes are scheduled in the most efficient way possible.

• Delivering on time, but always safely, making sure our reputation for excellence includes driving! About You Excellent service calls for high personal standards amongst the whole team. You'll be a careful and considerate driver who's willing to go the extra mile both on and off the roads. You'll be naturally friendly, helpful and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results.
