Possessing an advanced product portfolio, our client is an exciting emerging pharma based in Oxfordshire, utilising their novel platform as they pioneer new approaches to vaccine development in the field of rare infectious diseases. They work on addressing some of the most immediate health threats globally, including the outbreak of COVID-19, in which they were one of the first biotechs to respond through unique vaccine development!
Your new role
You will be part of an ambitious research team, responsible for performing cell based assays/ ELISAs and flow cytometry assays as part of method development, establishment, validation and technical transfer of potency assays to GMP standards. You will maintain and grow cell lines and help with running in-vitro tissue culture experiments. You will ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety rules at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
You would have obtained a BSc or MSc qualification (or gained equivalent industrial/ research/ commercial experience) in Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, or Biology (or a related field).
You will have several years of laboratory experience, working in a GMP environment.
You will have experience in immunological assays such as flow cytometry and ELISAs.
You will have experience in method validation/ development and environmental monitoring.
