Service Management Protocol SMP Co-ordinator

The role is client facing and will also support the development and deployment of an ITIL aligned process.

Your new role
You will produce and maintain the SMP weekly tracker and maintain the SMP Team escalation mailboxes. You will have to produce weekly escalation report and other Ad Hoc reports as required. You will instigate weekly reports and backlog reports from the OSM SMP Authors. You will register agreement and approval documents with Defence Digital SKMS. You will have to monitor Change Control of SMP(s) to ensure that they appropriately reflect the agreement and any changes that have been agreed. You will attend the weekly Defence Digital service meeting to report on backlogs and issues regarding SMP(s). You will also obtain and send Application Solution Documents to the SMP Authors. You will maintain Annual Service Review dates in the SMP Maintenance Tracker and distribute ASR request to OSM SMP Author(s). You will act as liaison point with Defence Digital OSM SKMS team and issue unique references for SMP(s) to SMP Authors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a general knowledge of desktop products, procurement and operational delivery of services, be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to resolve complex cross stakeholder Problems with stakeholder engagement techniques document builds. You must have quality documentation and report writing ability and experience of reporting tools. You will also need general management skills (time management, communication skills and staff management) and experience of managing meetings and facilitation skills. You will have experience of working with Third-Party Vendor suppliers and the ideal candidate will have ITIL v3 Foundation certification or above. Knowledge of the use of ServiceNow would be advantageous but is not essential.
