Internal Sales Advisor 6 month contract Chesterfield GBP23000

Your new company
Working for a leading UK business with a large office in Chesterfield you will be part of a busy Customer Service / Sales Administration Team and a thriving organisation .

This company is a truly exciting business to be part of and due to a period of sustained growth are keen to add to their customer support team.

This role is initially a 6 month contract and requires an immediate start ( this role could become permanent subject to the discretion of the business and performance in the role )

This role will start in June/July of 2021 and we ask that successful applicants not be on a long notice period and are able to start interview quickly.

This role offers a 'hybrid' working model with office work and remote work. Initially it will start in the office for training and support .

Your new role
The main purpose of the role will be to take responsibility for the follow up of warm leads and converting to supply agreements. Leads will come from customer emails. No cold call business developing involved.
You will also take responsibility for hitting supply sign ups and pricing for customers.

The role will report to the Sales Support Manager and will be based in an office with a team of 8 staff ( this is not a contact centre based role )

Duties of the role will include;

- Customer contact from emails to sign up to supply agreements
- Sales advising
- Sales order process
- Providing customers with quotes ( calculating on an individual basis)
- Discussing pricing , negotiating where necessary to retain the business
- Handling customer service issues ( not complaints) in order to improve service to customer
- Report on customer information and secure retained business to the Sales Support Manager
- Complete reports as required for business operations
- Customer service admin tasks , management of customer database , updating information and contracts
- Use of MS Office
- Use of Excel

What you'll need to succeed
You will have ;

- An excellent eye for detail
- A proven sales conversion background
- Extensive customer service experience
- Previous knowledge and experience of sales and retaining customers is ideal
- Excellent negotiations skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required
- Be target / sales driven
