We are now looking for a Commercial Parts Advisor for Volvo Trucks to join our team in Exeter.

The Role

As a Commercial Parts Advisor, you will be tasked with a range of activities to support our Volvo Trucks Parts Department at our main dealer depot in Exeter.

Providing outstanding customer service, you will also be responsible for offering additional parts and accessories to customers, ensuring a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will identify, locate and pick parts for workshop staff and customers by means of acquired knowledge, parts catalogues and computer stock lists.

Specifically, you will:

- Receive stock into the department and correctly locate items
- Record deliveries and maintain a signature for the receipt of goods
- Collect returned goods and issue receipts
- Perform external stock checks with customers as required

About You

To be considered as a Commercial Parts Advisor, you will need:

- Previous experience within a Parts role and/or within the industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- A full, clean driving licence
- Enthusiasm and fantastic interpersonal skills
- To be well organised and confident with the ability to work well under pressure
- To be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

This is a full-time role, working the following three-week rota:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Week 3: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm
Plus Saturday mornings 7am to 12:30pm on a rota basis

Other organisations may call this role Parts Sales Advisor, Customer Advisor, Customer Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor.
