Job Type: Permanent, Full Time - Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7am - 3pm

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our team based in Wickford. This is a full time permanent position that requires a committed, enthusiastic and professional person who can complement and add to the skills of our current team.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience, but training will be given:

• Freeze fitting of Bushings
• Riveting - pop/solid
• Fitting of sheet metal components to assemblies or sub-assemblies
• Use of air drills
• Using assembly jigs or fixtures to fit sub-assemblies
• Sealing
• Standard process quality checks to complete during production
• Submission of parts to the inspection department for checks

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of engineering drawings
• Demonstrable experience within a similar role
• The ability to use various measuring equipment, such as micrometres
• A good understanding of Engineering terminology
• Good communication skills
