Role Title: Lecturer in Childcare

Location: Deeside or Yale

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary: GBP26,911 - GBP41,598 Salary is subject to a salary assessment and relevant experience

Due to growth here at Coleg Cambria we are now looking for Lecturers in Childcare to work at either our Deeside or Yale sites. As a Lecturer in Childcare you would be responsible for delivering across the current qualifications delivered in Child Care across Wales. Including the Level 2 and 3 WJEC Qualifications.

Essential Requirements

  • It is essential that you hold a Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject eg: Childcare and Early Years.

  • A degree or equivalent (Level 6) qualification is highly desirable

  • We are looking for candidates who are either PGCE qualified or willing to work towards

Due to growth here at Coleg Cambria we are now looking for an Assessors in Childcare to work at their Deeside and Yale sites. Our Assessors are responsible for working alongside our teaching team in order to ensure our learners achieve their overall qualification. You will be expected to visit our learners in the workplace and assess the practical elements of the Level 2 and 3 WJEC City and Guilds qualifications. You may also be required to deliver placement workshops to groups of learner to prepare them for their workplace ad

Essential Requirements

  • TAQA qualification or willing to work towards

  • It is essential that you hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject

  • A Level 4 or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.

  • Access to their own vehicle/transport and flexible to travel around North East Wales
