My client is a well established well respected company with over 50 years trading and an extensive portfolio in letting commercial premises including warehouse/factories/offices/retail/shops/ leisure.
They have around 350 units spread across the Yorkshire region, mainly in West Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a General Property Manager to join a very well established and respected commercial property management company based out of Dewsbury, reporting in to the owner the role is designed to create a layer of structure between the facilities and maintenance management and the Owner.
The role of the General Property Manager will:
?? Overseeing staff within the Maintenance / Facilities Management / Agency Departments
?? Main Focus will be our insurance - COPE / Renewal Premiums / Claims / Liability
?? Liaising with contractors working on behalf of the company
?? Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
?? Arranging and attending meetings
?? Conducting site visits
?? Reviewing the current systems in place with a view to implementing new procedures for a smooth running between all departments
?? You will liaise with insurers, solicitors, local authorities, utility companies
?? Property & Facilities management experience
?? Knowledge of current Fire, Health & Safety requirements
?? Knowledge of Commercial Leasehold Management
?? Risk Management
The Ideal General Property Manager will have experience in the above and:
?? Good commercial property knowledge
?? Team player with a positive attitude
?? Strong ability to communicate
?? Can work at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
?? Excellent personal time management and prioritisation skills

?? Salary GBP35K - GBP42k (Negotiable depending on experience)
