SAP Business One Consultant - internal role
Interesting internal role for a SAP Business One Consultant, or SAP Business One Specialist with SAP HANA, SQL Server and Crystal Reports. This company is a hugely successful on-line retailer based in Caversham near Reading in Berkshire. The job is permanent, it would suit a SAP B1 Consultant looking to give up the travelling aspect of consulting work, or someone already in a SAP Business One internal role - or a SAP Business One freelancer who is fed up with contracting and wants an easier life! Salary to GBP50k with shopping discounts.
The job is office based with flexibility for working from home a few days a week, so you need to live within an hour's drive of Caversham, with an easy commute. They are a great bunch of people, they have grown the business together, the work ethos is lively and fun, and everyone in the team is keen to further develop the company and make full use of their SAP Business One ERP solution.
They implemented SAP Business One around 2 years ago but there is still a lot of work to do. So the role will be varied and will include new projects covering WMS (Warehouse Management), Magento2 & CRM integration with SAP B1, maximising the accounting functions, crystal reporting, and software upgrades, maintenance, optimisation tasks, and support.
They are currently using SAP B1 ERP for finance & accounting, buying, logistics, stock management, supply chain, distribution, e-commerce, sales & marketing and CRM and have around 100 users.
Your background:
* At least 2 years SAP Business One implementation, support and / or analysis
* SAP HANA experience
* Good understanding of business processes
* Requirements gathering
* SQL Server
* Excel
* Crystal Reports
* Boyum B1, Orbis TaskCentre and accounting knowledge would all be a bonus
* Development skills or general REST API would be useful
* Able to communicate with users at all levels
* Friendly, personable, flexible and motivated
* Any experience of WMS or Magento integration would be beneficial of course
You need to have good all round SAP Business One skills and to have worked on projects involving SQL Server and HANA, and are keen to learn new software and new skills, and come up with ideas for adding benefit to the company through utilisation of SAP B1.
