Mech Tech Professionals are actively recruiting for Front Loading Shovel Drivers for our energy client in the Market Harborough area. (Own transport will be needed/required).
The opportunity will be on a permanent basis and will be a rolling 4 on 4 off shift basis (2 days/ 2 nights/ 4 off).
To be considered, you must hold a valid: CSCS, CCNSG or equivalent site safety passport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the safe operation of plant and equipment.
* Experience of operating as a loading shovel is essential.
* Operating loading shovel and outdoor work will be expected.
* Moving and stacking material to correct locations/ bays.
* Loading hopper.
* Help with other duties throughout shifts.
* Adhering to safe working practices.
* Collecting and unloading of wood chip products.
* General housekeeping of the area (Sweeping etc).
* You will also be required to provide end of shift reports and therefore IT skills will be advantageous.
* You will also be confident and experienced in the use of radio communication.
Essential Skills:
* Experience of operating as a loading shovel is essential.
* Front Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS)
Desirable Skills:
* Loading Shovel Accreditation
* Motivated and reliable approach to work
* Flexibility in working hours with can-do attitude.
* Experience of driving a 621 GXT Advantageous.
* Forklift Licence - Advantageous
