The Company

Our Client is an established and well-respected marketing company. They are a small but highly focussed agency that take huge pride in not only delivering high quality work but also that in delivering it in a clear and transparent manor. They may not be a huge agency but they aim produce work and results that rival any bigger ticket company, as well as looking after their clients in a manner that the larger companies are not able to.

By choosing our client as their digital partners, their clients benefit from the broad knowledge of the entire team of experts who work together to develop and deliver a strategy totally unique and tailored to their individual business goals.

The Role

My Clients are looking for someone who is passionate about SEO and content. Whether you are a freelancer looking to join a team or you have some agency experience and want to step up from an exec role we want to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities:

My Clients are looking for an SEO Manager that can jump into the team and do great things. Much of the work will be around using software to identify terms and future work, optimising content on page, creating blogs and outreach content as well as pretty much anything else a client needs in terms of SEO. You may spend a few hours deep in GSC looking for opportunities to work on and then spend the rest of the day tweaking page titles and content. The next day could be keyword research coupled with some digging on competitor optimisation. We can't really tell you specifically what each day will be like because no two are the same. We do whatever work we feel will get the best results and we need someone to come and join in with that ethos.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

You need to have 2-3 years' experience in hands on SEO work. You need to be able to create, curate and edit content really well.

You need a good handle on general SEO concepts and any specialisms will always be of interest too.

Ideally you will be happy writing page content, blogs, articles and content marketing pieces as well as understanding how to carefully edit and optimise existing content based on agreed aims.

Any knowledge of link building and outreach is a huge bonus!

Along with a good understanding of the concepts of SEO it would be handy if you are able to use GA and GSC but if you are trained on other software that's fine.

Experience with WordPress would be great and knowledge of any other CMSs is a bonus

Benefits:

My Clients do have an office but remote working is certainly an option as well as a combination of both.

They love what we do and have some amazing clients. They don't take life too seriously but do think being happy in your job is very important.

To that end they have unlimited holiday (fair use policy applies) flexi working hours and certainly no dress code.

They like to work on the basis that all colleagues have tasks to complete but if you prefer doing them at night then you do you!

It is critical that you are self-motivated and able to manage your own time and workload in order to make this happen.
