Customer Case Handler
Working for an international company, this is a customer service job with a difference! The company is aiming to be the best at what they do and as part of that have a new role for someone with outstanding customer service experience to help drive a more proactive approach to customer service. You will handle complaints, take ownership for cases and deal with them through to completion when necessary. This is a 6 month contract.
This role takes a proactive approach to customer service and complaints. Some of your time will be spent on the traditional reactive high level complaint resolution which involves dealing with customers by telephone but also in writing, by email or letter. You will also be serving customers in a more proactive way, for example by contacting them to tell them of a delay as soon as it is clear this might happen, which keeps the customer up to date and minimises the chances of it escalating into a customer complaint. The goal of this team is to achieve excellent customer feedback.
The Ideal Candidate
You must genuinely care about providing excellent customer service and have experience dealing with complaints. In addition to the customer skills over the phone and a real ability to build relationships with people, you will need good administration skills because you will be writing letters/emails on a daily basis. Ability to use your own initiative in finding solutions for customers is important as you will have the opportunity to be creative in approach rather than following a script and you should be really good working within a team of people.
