A great opportunity to join a forward- thinking training provider is now available for a trainer assessor to deliver the new standard apprenticeship in public transport. (Bus driving)

This role will be working with an established training provider that is enjoying a huge period of growth.

The role would suit a bus driver or a bus driver / CPC trainer

You will be part of a team of trainer /assessors working with a well- known and respected National Bus Company across the Cambridge region. You will have a good understanding of what it takes to be an excellent bus driver and use your experience to pass this on to new bus drivers joining the industry.

Ideally you will have 5 years' experience of bus driving

A valid CPC License

A valid PCV license

Level 2 (GCSE/O level) in Maths and English and a good grasp of IT

If you also have an assessor qualification (An A1 or TAQA) or a teaching qualification that would be great but it's not essential as you will be able to upskill whilst in post - Great isn't it?

The caseloads of learners are approximately 35 to 40 learners in the cohort. An e- portfolio system is used called One- file but if you have any e portfolio experience this is an advantage.

You will work in an agile way and meet with learners in their place of work and liaise with employers throughout the leaner journey to completion of their qualification

Due to the nature of the role any offer will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check
