NonStop are working with a world leader in foam solutions to seek a QSE Coordinator. The main purpose of this job role is to help manage the quality, health & Safety and environmental systems operated by our client. You will be responsible to the QSE Manager and Factory Manager

Training will be given to help the successful candidate develop their skills and knowledge within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality

  • To ensure that our Quality Management System conforms to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Internal Auditing
  • To act as representative in dealings with our Certification body.
  • Ensure the effective maintenance of the quality procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure systems are in place to meet customer needs for HACCP and hygiene requirements for food grade production.

Safety

  • Be aware of current legislation governing health and safety at work.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the company health and safety policy.
  • Co-ordinate risk assessments.
  • Carry out regular site inspections.

Environment

  • Develop an Environmental Management System that will enable the company to satisfy the requirements of ISO 14001.
  • Liaise with Environment Agency Inspector
  • Ensure the company meets the requirements of the PPC Permit, including regular site inspections
  • Assist with waste management on site
  • Assist the QSE Manager and Factory Manager in any other tasks as necessary.

Key Qualifications/Experience :

  • Working in a QSE role for ideally 2 years
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and Internal Auditing
  • NEBOSH trained preferable
  • Degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences preferable
  • Good working knowledge of environmental management systems and PPC permits.
  • Strong planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills.
  • High level of competency and accuracy in writing, and maintain clear and professional documentation.
  • Microsoft Office experience: 2 years (preferred)
