Key responsibility's...

Supporting the Procurement Manager in line with the product mix and purchasing strategy.
Manage products in line with MSRP and sourcing / buying to delivery the annual financial plan.
Active involvement in cross-functional teams to source special customer requirements to ensure the supplier can meet the expectations of the customer.
Work with the operations function to ensure product is available to customer demand and orders.
Purchasing of products from vendors and distributors.
Maintain accurate system data for suppliers, lead time, pricing, due dates, batch sizes and cost prices.
Foster relationships with vendors and supply chain for best in class product offering.
Pro-actively expediting the timely delivery in full to suit business requirements. Ensure everything possible is done to alleviate and overcome problematic due dates.
Attend weekly trading meetings to provide relevant updates as soon as possible for any parts which cannot meet business time frames.
Drive initiatives to maximize product mix, revenue, margin and overall product contribution to CCL to deliver on quarterly sales targets.
Responsible for building, implementing, and executing product demand generation / PPC / trade marketing programs, which align to monthly, quarterly & annual financial goals.
Evaluate performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g., daily, weekly) and instigate corrective actions to keep CCL on track to achieve category goals.
Provide relevant input to the quarterly planning cycles by category key financials. (Product Mix, Units, ASP, AUM, RevGBP, MarginGBP, sales out performance).
Identify opportunities to partner with 3rd party alliances to grow business.
Management of inventory levels and sales out reporting across category and sub category.
Effectively manage product transitions with a view to maximizing revenue & profit.
Ensure accurate forecasting for relevant products on supply and demand creations in collaboration with trade marketing and e-commerce marketing.
Effectively differentiate CCL offerings from competitive offerings.
Knows when to bring elements of competitors' offerings or products into the equation to create the highest yielding deal for the customer and CCL.
Determine customer needs through participation in trading meetings collaboration meeting.
Recommend and position appropriate product to customers.
Feedback competitive "price to specification" details to sales / finance team to help arrive at
appropriate positioning and product proposition.
The "Role"
The role requires a meticulous and organised individual to drive the product categories they would be responsible in terms of sales out, margin, assortment, inventory and contribution. The right individual is highly organised, who can multi task whilst meeting multiple deadlines. The role will be taking great value propositions from computing products. The go to market will require a solid understanding of e-commerce direct selling platforms. The role will suit someone who is a collaborating team player, whilst enjoying leading the product categories and buyer at the same time.
