Role overview
Managing the Firm's Business Systems team, you will own the Firm's Business Systems landscape, playing a key role in the management, governance and improvement of the Firm's Business Systems and the associated data.

The Business Systems/Data manager will work closely with the Director of Technology, driving key initiatives that support the management, improvement, modernisation and transformation of the Firm's Business Systems while owning the Data strategy, leading on all associated Data work, and improving the health of the Firm's Data, across all systems.

Responsibilities:

Ownership and management of the Firm's Business systems and technical estate.
Ownership and management of the Firm's Systems and Data strategies
Ensure the continued operational effectiveness of the Firm's Business Systems and data.
Supporting the Firm and all teams in the optimisation of their Business systems.
Act as a point of IT escalation for all business systems, applications, technology solutions, and data related activities.
Ensuring Business Systems and data problems, and service requests are addressed and resolved effectively.
Own the Business systems release management and change management process
Overseeing and managing numerous projects
Managing the Business systems team - line management, work allocation, objective setting, personal development and being hands on as necessary to support the teams work
In conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager, manage Business systems vendor relationships, pro-actively manage issues and actions log, and also attend regular account management meetings to maintain effective service and relationship.
Own Business systems and Data associated Risks and risk treatment plans.
Manage all systems testing work, including the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and all functional system testing
Support effective information security in accordance with the Firm's ISO27001 initiative, and work alongside the Cyber Security Team and Director of technology to support the success of the initiative

Knowledge and experience required:

NetSuite or other ERP systems and strategy.
Wide breadth of systems infrastructure and configuration management experience.
Business analysis and systems project management.
Process improvement, continuous improvement or a strong emphasis on efficiencies
3rd party vendor management
Experience of Business Analysis, requirements gathering and reporting.
Experience of leading a team in a complex systems environment.
Familiarity with property management systems, and/or working in a professional services Firm.
Demonstrable hands on approach with Business systems, data and project management.
Experience with Master Data Management, data management and profiling tools and data management concepts.
Experience of working within, or with the ISO27001 information security standard.
Strong experience of SQL Server, databases, SQL scripting.
Experience of Azure SQL.
Experience of Azure
Experience in leading systems and UAT testing.
Experience in leading change and release management.
Experience of ITIL.
