Job Opportunity
The main purpose of the Master Data Analyst role is to ensure the quality and integrity of Master Data across the Samworth Group of companies. A large part of the role is to act as a gatekeeper, responding to requests from the Bakeries and ensuing that agreed standards and processes are adhered to. This includes checking for inconsistencies, analyzing and resolving issues arising from data errors
Specific Areas of Role Accountability
The Master Data Analyst is accountable for the accuracy and consistency of Master Data
* Assist with developing and implementing processes and standards to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Master Data
* Manage requests for additions and changes to Master Data, including some element of data input
* Follow up and resolve inconsistencies and errors, perform root cause analysis
* Liaise with business stakeholders and Group IT teams as necessary to resolve issues
* Understand Microsoft AX systems integration and diagnose issues relating to interfaces
* Provide standard reporting based on a defined set of metrics

* 1 years' experience of MasterData Administration
* Experience of using ERP systems
* Experience in diagnosing data-related issues and problems, with the ability to work through systems and interfaces to identify root cause
* Experience in using Data Migration tools and techniques
* Database Management and SQL skills
* Logical and methodical approach, strong attention to detail
* Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and businesses
